Name ten of life's simple pleasures that you like most, then pick ten people to do the same. Try to be original and creative and not to use things that someone else has already used.
1. Coloring with crayons. 2. Feeling intense and crazy because of that great part at the end of the Firebird Suite when it changes to 7/4 time. 3. Reading sad and complicated books when it's raining outside. 4. Drinking tea when it's raining outside. 5. Saying exactly what you mean. 6. When you fall asleep on an airplane and wake up and suddenly the sky is bright and golden and all sorts of colors that it wasn't before. 7. Finding handwritten messages on things in antique stores (Charlotte--Happy birthday, darling. Always, John. 1945). 8. Waking up to your cat purring on your stomach. 9. Being alive on the first warm day of the year. 10. Coming home. |
